Heart Children New Zealand
Twelve babies every week are born with a heart condition, (approx 600 per year, or 1% of all live births), making this the most common congenital birth abnormality occurring in New Zealand children. Heart Children New Zealand aims to provide and facilitate the best support and care for children with heart conditions and their families.
We help with information, emotional, psychological and practical support, advocacy, resources, equipment, education, social affiliation for parents and children as well as involvement in special events such as camps, medical conferences etc.
